I'm Jenny: my writing has appeared in publications including the New York Times, Sensitive Skin, Montana magazine, Switched-On Gutenberg, Barrow Street, the Cairo Times and elsewhere.
I'm Heath, a high school sophomore. I'm into theater, improv comedy, antique book collecting, and video games.
Jenny wrote The Outlaws as we researched the history of Robin Hood's Barn together. Parts of the book are narrated by Heath, who provided close edits to the entire manuscript. Many of our conversations are captured in it.
We live with Ryan Montgomery in Missoula, Montana where our family runs Montgomery Distillery, making spirits with grain grown by Ryan's parents. We have been active with various organizations in the grassroots disability rights movement, which works to advance the independence and civil rights of people with disabilities.
